My name is Emanuel Jimenez I am currently 20 years old, and I was originally born in Chicago, Illinois. I am the fourth child of eight total siblings, and my parents both come from Guadalajara, Mexico. Growing up I was always an active and competitive kid, and with such a big family it was always easy to have enough people to make teams. Before entering the seminary, I was in college studying to become a mechanical engineer, but the Lord called me to take a different path for my life. Truly I can say that this calling to the seminary was only by the grace of God. Growing up, all through high school and even through my first year in college, the idea of entering a seminary was nowhere in my mind.
