My name is Jose Miguel Escobar Navas. I was born on March 19, 1994. I grew up in Carabobo, Venezuela, with my parents and three siblings. I am second of four siblings and the firstborn son. When I was 21 years old, my parents moved to Miami with my younger siblings, so in 2017 I decided to move with them. I was raised in a Catholic family: however, being raised in a Catholic family did not preserve me falling into the temptations offered by this world. Trying to escape from reality and my house. Therefore, I decided to experience more and more things. At the age of 27, I found myself with nothing but emptiness in my life. My catechist in the Neocatechumenal Way told me that if I was open to the will of God, I should answer the calling to go to the seminary. On August 25, 2021, I arrived at the seminary, and I have to say that it has been a beautiful experience. I realized that even though I was active in the church, I did not have a relationship with the Lord. Now I am starting to establish it.
